This was by far one of the most unprofessional practices I have visited. It starts off with unreasonable amount of time spent waiting to be called in. While waiting, the office staff has loud social conversations that can be overheard by the entire waiting area. Once in the examination room, the assistant had no knowledge of my following appointment and told me I was not scheduled for one. After finally going to check, he said I did in fact have one he and acted as though they had done me a favor by fitting me in, even though it was made in advance. The doctor herself spent the rest of the visit typing furiously into her computer after briefly examining me. On the way out of the office, I had to wait for the rude receptionist to finish her own conversation before paying. Weeks after this appointment, I received bills stating I had not paid my copay, even though I did at the time of service and had a receipt. Out of curiosity I checked my insurance statement online and found they billed me for a rather expensive procedure that was NOT performed. I had to seek action from my insurance company to have this reversed, as the office was adamant and condescending when I addressed it with them.
I will never go back to this practice and will make sure that I let others know how unprofessional and suspect I find their business practices. How many others have they incorrectly billed or charged for services not performed??
Unfortunately I never got to meet this doctor because of her terrible scheduling. I had to wait over a week to get. They asked me to come 15 minutes early which came and went. I then had to wait an additional 55 minutes. No one said a word to me about how long it was taking until I told them I was leaving. Then the receptionist ran to see what the hold up was. In the meantime her next patient had arrived and was waiting. It was bad enough that I had to wait over an hour, and I didn't want that poor woman to have to wait too. When I left all the receptionist said was sorry, and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I will NEVER go back there, and I am extremely upset.
