From the moment I met Dr. Smith I did not have a good vibe from him. He was very arrogant and his bed-side manner was not much to be desired. When he took my medical history, I felt rushed and that he did not want the complete information. When he started my exam, he took blood and did my yearly. When I asked him what was he testing for, he said " we will talk about it next month at your next appointment". Even though this is my second child, it has been 8 years since my 1st child and I couldn't remember all they test for. But he still would not tell me what he was testing for. Then about a week later his nurse calls me to tell me that I have low Thyroid. I have never had a thyroid problem in my life, so I questioned how could this just happen now. The nurse said she didn't know and told me to start taking Thyroid medication right away. I didn't trust what he was telling me, so I get re-tested by my Family doctor who said my Thyroid was fine. Dr. Smith never said lets wait a week and re-test just to make sure since I have no prior Thyroid issues. I then found another OBGYN doctor and canceled my next appointment. I requested my records be faxed to my new doctor and it was not done. I had to go to the office and pick them up myself. At my new doctors appointment, (which is now 5 weeks from when I last saw Dr. Smith), she told me that I had a yeast infection that looked really angry. It was on my results from my yearly that Dr.Smith did. And he had the results the whole time and did not call to inform of the infection. I had started to feel some abdominal and back pain but did not know it was, now I do. And this could have been treated immediately, not 5 weeks later. I would not recommend Dr. Smith to anyone, I don't trust him. Look for another Doctor, one who still cares for their patients.

I have been going to this doctor for 22+ years. The staff & doctor have always been good to me.
