Took my 4 year old daughter to the Clinton Township Michigan office because she had a loose tooth. When I made the appointment I said I wanted for her to have an exam to make sure it was for natural reasons and that there were no other underlying conditions as 4 years old is pretty young to be loosing teeth, or so I thought. When we were taken back, the Dentist came in and looked in her mouth and said yep everything looks good. And I asked him ok, is this natural or is something else going on? He said well it could be natural or it could be Congenital missing teeth and her permanent teeth may never come in. I was shocked!!! I said ok how do we find this out? He said well you have to make another appointment for a cleaning and and x-ray. WHAT WAS MY APPOINTMENT FOR??????? We were in his office for no more than 5 minutes and that is without exaggeration. It took me longer to fill out my new patient form than the time we were actually seen. So we check out and the receptionist tells me they don't have any openings until June!! So she see's I'm worried at this point and says well I have an opening next week? REALLY???? So we check out and I get home and look at the check out paper and it I see he billed $92 for an exam and $36 for an x-ray. SHE NEVER GOT AN XRAY!!!!! Or a full exam! And then at the bottom of the paper I see where it says the total amount of benefits we have through our insurance. Which was a lot. I don't like being jerked around and I don't like con-artists. I will never step back in this facility ever again! Shame on you! I went to another dentist the very next day and paid out of pocket because they did not accept our insurance. They gave her an x-ray and thankfully she does not have congenital missing teeth! So thank you for worrying me for nothing!
