My whole family has been seen at this dentist and we ALL have to find another dentist to fix what they messed up! (less than 6 months later) 1st: I had partial plates made which the bottom plate never fit right, no adjustments could fix it. When they tried, they just created sharp edges that cut me. On my top plate a tooth broke off (while chewing mac n cheese), I returned and they GLUED it back on. Only to fall off again. (they are replacing them but it's been over 6 months and they still aren't done) Fillings that was done on my real teeth is already chipping apart.
My daughter had 2 fillings done: both are falling out need to be drilled out and replaced.
My husband had a root canal done on bottom - next to front tooth: he's in more pain now: 8 months after root canal; than he was BEFORE it was done. That tooth has to be pulled now, can't be saved because root canal wasn't done properly.
The only reason I have given 1 star is because I typically don't have to wait long when I'm there and they are pretty flexible with scheduling. Also, the staff at the front desk is very friendly.

Take this a a warning. Don't risk your teeth and sanity by going there. I did not go to the dentists too often growing up because we just couldn't afford it. I was still in college and though I hardly had money, I bought discount dental card cause I knew I needed a root canal and crown. For the next six months I went to the dentist A LOT and spent even more MONEY, ending up with multiple fillings, a root canal, and two crowns. Overall my experiences were ok. I probably would have went somewhere else but my options with the discount plan were limited. I kept my cleaning apps and checkups like a good patient. My last checkup, had a full set of X-rays, and they said everything looked great. Fast forward 1.5-2 years, finally had REAL insurance, so I went to a different dentist. Before I went in for my initial exam, I had to hurry in with a painful broken tooth, one that less than two years ago was filled by DeMd dental. Either my old dentist left decay in my tooth most likely cause it had been such a short time since it was filled, or the filling wasn't done properly allowing cracks grow decay. Well that ended in a root canal and crown. Got my X-rays and long story.... I have been back and forth to the dentists many fillings, most of which were just "fixed" by DeMd dental. I am outraged! Last week ANOTHER tooth that was filled my DEMD dental broke because of decay that was most likely left there. There goes another future crown, but I should look at it as a blessing because if that tooth didn't break, it could have decayed down to the root and hello root canal. My new dentist told and showed me on the xray both of the crowns are extremely ill fitting allowing bacteria to enter under the crown. I will need to have those redone because I could have bad decay hiding under those and I would never know. So all of the teeth that DeMD touched have and will need to be redone and it has been only about two years since I went there. Worst of all DeMd dental told me everything had looked great on my last X-rays at DeMd dental. My teeth must have taken a serious plunge in less than a year, but I doubt I'm totally to blame. I was mostly seeing a dentist who is no longer there, but near the end and the one who told me my X-rays where fine is still working there. I spent so much money at that place it is sad, especially because I have had to spend even more money fixing what they screwed up. I would have been better doing nothing and waiting two years then at least I wouldn't be out thousands of dollars and wouldn't have lord knows what hiding under they pieces of crap work they did. It makes me so angry that they can get away with this. I am a nurse so I know what it sounds like to places when you mention sue. They think you are sue happy and just want money, but I really wish there is some thing I could do to make Delaware/Maryland Dental pay for royally screwing up my teeth. Bottom line going there is worse then not going to a dentist at all.
