It is much more expensive than anticipated. One time when I had my annual cleaning, which was supposed to be free under the insurance, the dentist said that I would need some special treatments and billed me several hundreds. It took him less than an hour with a machine cleaning the roots. One time when I did the filling, he charged me for temporary filling and some medicine to lessen the sensitivity before the filling for almost a hundred. The office is out of date; equipment are old; and the phone system is awful. I was on the phone to set up an appointment, then it cut off. I called back, there was no answer.
If you decide to go to this dental office, please request a pre treatment quote to submit to your insurance. If they do not, do not pay them until you get the claim summary that shows what you owe, then pay them. They feel entitled that you owe them what they want not what the insurance co. is contracted to pay for the procedure. The doctor I saw was good. but the office staff leaves a lot to be desired.
