I am SO surprised to see any negative reviews for Dr Kalidas!! I was a patient many years ago, and yes, some of the supplements are expensive but most holistic treatments are not covered by insurance and SEEM expensive in comparison. If you had to self pay for all conventional treatments, testing, rx's it would surpass this. I would assume many patients see Dr Kalidas AFTER years of failed conventional treatment when conditions may have become severe,as I did. It was a last ditch effort when I saw Dr Kalidas over 10 yrs ago as I was out of hope. Finding Dr Kalidas changed my life. He was kind, patient, thorough, and VERY helpful. It was the first time I had tried alternative medicine, supplements, etc. It was life changing and results were undeniable. Yes, it is expensive but insurance plans don't cover supplements-this is not something unique to Dr Kalidas. i STILL follow the supplement protocol Dr Kalidas gave me! I have not been able to continue treatment with Dr Kalidas. (Yes, due to the cost! I am locked into a network with my insurance plan but I can tell you I may have insurance that pays for things but my health is worse than ever. And the insurance keeps THEIR costs down by denying care, testing, etc!! Under the care of Dr kalidas it was self pay but it was worth every dime! Some of the reviews complained that he did a lot of testing and treating and that it was expensive- that is called being thorough as well as getting to the CAUSE instead of just treating symptoms-many of which are caused by multiple prescriptions given by strictly conventional Dr's in a try this/try that method of treatment without even knowing WHY you are sick .Also, insurance pays when you are already in disease state/clinically ill/overall very sick and poor quality of life. Dr Kalidas treats illness but will also help you have optimal health, quality of life, preventative care, etc. The old saying an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure is true-ask anyone who is sick ) I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Kalidas and I will never forget the help he gave me, and when I am able I will return. I felt the need to write this review because through the years I have remembered Dr Kalidas and the help he provided me and wished he was my current Dr!!! I have seen many Drs through my insurance plan these past years and my health has suffered for it. It has been less expensive BUT there was still a price... inability to get referrals to specialists, denial of needed testing, lack of care, illness, stress in dealing with insurance red tape, uncaring Drs,heavy pushing of unproven dangerous rx's,worsening of chronic health conditions. The last time I had measurable improvement in my health was when I saw Dr Kalidas. I am also experiencing the financial issues and have to use my insurance network at this time but I clearly see the difference in quality, care, treatment
and results when I was treated by Dr Kalidas. I highly recommend him

Beware of attending the free seminars at the Center for Natural and Integrative Medicine in Orlando (Kirti Kalidas M.D., Director.) During the lecture, they videotaped the audience without announcing it and without getting a photographic release form. The next day, they advertised the DVD for sale. I complained to their office by both telephone and email that my privacy and confidentiality had been invaded. I did not want to be in their DVD but the Administrative Manager was rude and dismissive and did not care. She was insensitive to how upset I was and said their private medical office was a public venue and she would do nothing about it. I chose not to become a patient in this type of atmosphere.
