Dr Bates is a highly seasoned, experienced professional. I have been visiting her for 6 years, had two beautiful healthy children in her care including one by c-section (you wouldn't notice the mark if you didn't know). She is always extremely careful and has great medical judgment, and is pleasant. I went to her on a recommendation from another doctor. Be prepared for some wait times, because babies arrive on their own schedule and she might be at the hospital when you arrive for your office visit... Also, her nurses are really great, but the office/administration is unreliable/not very service-oriented - you have to chase them for follow-up.
