To begin, there is not enough awesome words in the dictionary to describe Dr. Emejuru. I chose him as my baby's pediatrician 27 years ago. His mannerisms made me trust him from day one! At three months old, my grandmother was about to pass away and asked me to bring my son to see her in New Jersey from Virginia. I did, she passed that night after seeing him. One week later while still in New Jersey, my baby was crying so much and nothing seemed to soothe him. He started getting a fever. It went to 103 really quick. I gave him baby Tylenol liquid. I took him to Jersey Shore hospital. The emergency pediatrician gave him some liquid baby Motrin and told me take him home and cone back if his fever didn't go down. I said I am not taking my baby home with a fever. I was so upset. I called Dr. Emejuru and told him what was going on. He said put the doctor on the phone. He told them I was not taking my baby home like that and to put him on fluids and check further. My baby temperature went up to 105! The diagnosis ended up Ecoli Meningitis!! Dr. Emejuru called me almost every day for thirty days. The doctors there told me to prepare for the worst. He seized for what seemed like an hour after being there a week. Doctors there said if my baby lived he my be in a vegetated state for the rest of his life. After they got him stable thirty days later, my baby was flown home to CHKD for brain surgery. Dr. Emejuru was there every moment he could be. With God and Dr. Emejuru by my side, I sustained strength and faith. I continued to take my son until he was well into his teens. Today, he graduated from high school with academic honors and is a traveling Chef. Thank you Dr. Emejuru for keeping me calm and reminding me that faith sustains all !!

I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say.
