I have taken the lady I care for to Dr. Ausmus two or three times now. He is the rudest doctor I have ever been to. He is loud and obnoxious; very judgmental; not at all sympathetic to someone with mental issues. I would hope that a physician would be a bit more verbally gentle with his patients and try to understand their needs better before starting to yell (yes yell) at them. I will not take her to see Dr. Ausmus again. She left there in tears because of his rudness.

They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room. He is an absolute expert in the field, paying attention to what I have to say about my health and not treating me as ignorant for having less education. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in his care. While the office is right off the freeway and close to all kinds of shops, it's quite a drive for me as I live on the other side of the city area...but well worth the drive!
