Dr Dewan performed two very elaborate root canals and made crowns for my front teeth when I had a horseback riding accident in approximately 1968. I am now 61 and the original work that he did is still intact, with a few "upgrades" thanks to modern dentistry. The surgeries he did took hours and he was terribly kind. I remember him carrying me out to my mother when I was done (as I was under meds) and handing me the whole box of parting gift toys. He had also had to wire my mouth shut when I was first injured ( I remember spending the night carefully undoing the wires lol). And when I was a teen he also removed my wisdom teeth at Falmouth Hospital. I have always held a special place in my heart for him.
