Dr. Bert Kaufman completed four years of dental school, receiving a DDS degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1982. He completed a General Practice Hospital Dentistry Residency Program at the Veterans Administration, West Los Angeles Medical Center, followed by a two year residency in Advanced Prosthodontics. Dr Kaufman returned to UCLA for an additional residency program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Dr. Kaufman is a trained maxillofacial prosthodontist, specializing in the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. He also specializes in the care of head and neck trauma and cancer patients. He now teaches post-gradate courses in crown and bridgework and sleep apnea treatment at the Veterans Administration West Los Angeles Medical Center.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. The toothpaste they used during my cleaning tasted great. It made the experience that much better. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan.
