My Interests

I have a special interest in treating Anxiety, Adjustment disorders, Depression and Bipolar illness. I will perform a very detailed initial evaluation to better understand your situation. I will discuss with you openly your diagnosis, as well as options for treatment, such as medication and psychotherapy.

I also have a special interest in treating females’ isssues from late adolescence through adulthood-including pregnancy and menopause.

My practice approach is based on evidence-based psychopharmacology, supportive and psychodynamic psychotherapy. My treatment options are psychotherapy ("talking" therapy), psychopharmacology (prescription drugs), or both if necessary to achieve the best treatment.
