I went to see Dr Bugg after a back injury. Dr Bugg and his staff were the most friendly, welcoming staff. They were professional and easy to talk to, and made the whole experience so much better. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. I immediately felt relief from my pain after my appointment. I will definately see Dr Bug again!

I went to Dr. Bugg about 4 years ago with severe sciatica that shot like a river of fire down my leg and into my foot. The pain was so bad I had trouble walking. I knew my insurance did not cover chiropractic care, but I had a young child and could no longer be "out of commission" for days at a time when I had a flare-up. The first thing Dr. Bugg did was get a full medical history and take X-rays--the results of which were quite revealing. Although I did have a lower back problem that was causing the sciatica, the X-rays also showed that I had some impairment in my neck vertebrae, which was a shock to me. Upon reconstructing a medical timeline, we realized that a car accident in my early 20’s had probably caused the damage, and no doctor since then had taken the time to get X-rays and find this problem. So in addition to getting my sciatica taken care of, I now am mostly free of the headaches that had been a regular part of my life for 20 years.

It was not a quick fix. It took months and months of hard work on both our parts, but now, at 42, I have the best back health since before the accident.

He is unlike my M.D. in that he never encouraged me to take pharmaceuticals or any easy way out when what I really needed to do was take charge of my own health by being vigilant about doing the stretching and strengthening exercises that he taught me. We often discussed my lifestyle choices such as diet, exercise, and sleep, and how those things affected my back health. He frequently gave me “homework,” like a new stretching routine, or a new way to massage problem areas.

I do not have the flare-ups that in the past would put me out of commission for days at a time. In part, it’s because I really took to heart all that he taught me. I now have a customized stretching and strengthening routine that I do daily. My diet has improved and he really helped me understand my insomnia and what I can do to improve my own sleeping. (Adjustments can help with that, too.) Any question I've ever had (and I’m obviously long-winded), he has taken the time to thoroughly answer. In short, he treated the whole me, not just my symptoms. He even made a special trip in on a Saturday on short notice because I was in such pain! No other doctor has ever done that for me.

As far as the actual adjustments, Dr. Bugg is exceptionally skilled--and gentle. He uses special tables and other equipment to get the adjustments my back needed; no rough stuff here. I started taking my daughter when she was about 2, and she LOVES going to Dr. Bugg. (HATES going to the M.D.) She actually giggles through the adjustments because of one of the tools he uses. Dr. Bugg has a wonderful way with children, and a great sense of humor!

At the time of my initial treatment, I had no coverage for chiropractic care, but Dr. Bugg's prices are very reasonable, and they had various payment plans that made it affordable for my family.

Thank you Dr. Bugg; your treatment approach improved my quality of life exponentially!

My experience w. Kevin Bugg was extremely unsettling. I visited his office for neck pain treatment in early March '09, and was told by him I'd be covered under my insurance. He was 40 minutes late to both of my appointments, rarely treated me during my appointments (to work on other patients), and had me reschedule twice to fit in other patients. The worst part of all:

Kevin Bugg decided to tell me that I wasn't covered after racking up literally hundreds of dollars in x rays and treatments! This may or may not be against the law, but it is certainly highly unethical. If that's not enough, my neck problem (which was minor) was never fixed and now I'm out hundreds of dollars! Please be warned. I am not fabricating any of this.

I am writing this to help others get real honest treatment and attention. Do your research BEFORE choosing a chiropractor.
