In June of 2014 I had a combination of leg, groin and lower back pain. It hurt to lift my leg and tylenol did not stop the pain. Was able to get an appointment the day after I called Dr. Knecht's office. As a new client, I got there a few minutes early to fill out some paperwork. He called me back exactly at my appointment time, a welcome change from other doctors. After a review of my chart, a short discussion and exam of my back, head and affected areas he took several x-rays. He showed me the abnormal areas on the x-rays and described the treatment. It took 5 to 10 minutes for the treatment of the affected areas and the relief was immediate. I scheduled a follow up appointment for the next day and he made an additional adjustment the next day. Now I am off to the mountains for a 3 day hiking trip with my wife. Without Dr. Knecht's help we may have cancelled our hiking trip.

Note: Dr. Knecht's wife and daughter run the office front desk. They are a DELIGHT to talk with on the phone and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. They take cash and check for payment. My medical insurance is sad and their prices are very reasonable, so a check works best for my visits. Both are very knowledgeable about insurance and can provide details about your coverage when you call. A true delight to interact with both of them.

Was the waiting area spacious?
No, it was rather cramped

They were somewhat gentle, but I wasn't impressed

This chiropractor and the staff is personable and very professional. I like his method of trying to align the spine slowly. By aligning the top vertebrae, the lower will align over time. I believe his method of care is called soft touch chiropractic care. He explains what he does and answers all questions to the best of his ability. He will even explain back exercises that can be done to strengthen the back.
