Dr. Patricia Myer has been treating cats in my family for at least the last seven years. Any veterinarian that would leave the comfort of their warm, dry home, go out in an ice storm to helpa family in need is a loving, trusted servant of GOD. She did this yesterday!

Our beloved cat, Mikey, who we rescued a year and a half ago had an infected paw and stopped eating and drinking. He has no strength and appears to be in his final hours.

Dr. Myer gently took blood samples, rehydrated him intravenously, clipped his nails and administered strong antibiotics, all the while gently explaining that while she couldn't guarantee his recovery,that she would do all she could to find out what was wrong with him Nd treat him to the best of her ability.

This is a very difficult time for my wife and myself and we have limited resources. This is no barrier to Dr. Myer. She has an excellent bedside manner to both pet and fsmily.

At this hour we don't yet know the results and he slept either next to or in our bed all last night. He cried and we cried with him. This would be unbearable without the support of Dr. Myer. I simply can't say enough about her.

I remember watching a series on CPTV about a vertinariannamed Heriot in England. She seems to be America's versionofDr. Heriot.
