my young cat was in for several checkups with one doctor due to weight loss and no problems were found. but at a follow-up recheck with a different doctor, a severe heart murmur was found. i think the original doctor missed or ignored the severe murmur, causing a delay in the onset of treatment for heart disease. the doctor who did hear the murmur is no longer with the practice.
