They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional.

Dr. Gaster completed my LASIK eye correction surgery in June 2011. For years I wore contacts and glasses before finally deciding that for the convenience and health of my eyes I should perform LASIK. I used to wear my contacts too long and just the constant fingers in the eyes never seemed ideal. I was referred to Dr. Gaster who went through all the pre-screening tests with me to see if I was a candidate. Never did he push the procedure. He presented two options given my sports background and he answered all relevent concerns. Ana, the Refractory Surgery Coordinator did all the paperwork stuff....she was very kind and thorough, addressing all my pre-surgery questions. Another Austrialian guy did some of the pre-screening tests and he was great as well. The day of surgery was better than expected as the staff made me feel at ease and the procedure was painless. About 6 months later and I have better than 20/20 vision. The follow up visits showed that Dr. Gaster really cared about his patients and the results. He even called me the night before and days after to ensure I was using my eye drops and seeing better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Words cannot describe the joy of waking up to perfect vision after years of blurriness. Dr. Gaster's professionalism, education and talent, plus the genuine care make him the best LASIK doctor in Los Angeles.

They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan.

They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. And everyone here who had surgery, whether LASIK or cataract or cornea transplant (some of the people I talked to in the waiting room) were absolutely thrilled with the results. And they never push surgery, In my case, they told me I could wait and just wear contact lenses. I am thinking about scheduling the surgery now and like their financing plan with no interest. All in all I am thrilled to have found Dr. Gaster. He and the office staff are so nice and accomodating.

I went to Dr. Gaster to treat my dry eyes, which really bother me. I had been using artificial tears and it seems every hour I was using it. Dr. Gaster informed me that he was going to do the treatment while I looked into his slit lamp machine. He then took an instrument and pressed on several areas on my lids...and immediately I could feel a lubricant come out. My tear ducts were blocked. But this treatment works on dry eyes of all types. The question is how often one needs it. I have been treated 3 times in 6 months and I rarely use artificial tears. His office is new (the Cornea Eye Institute) and the staff is wonderful. I just referred my mother to him for her cataract surgery (and she thought he was fabulous). He will use Crystalens for her because of her particular eye condition. Anyway, Dr. Gaster is so warm and nice and approachable. You will love him.
