I WAS THE first baby boy born there 08/25/1962.

I too was born here many years ago to an Air Force Father and a young mother. My parents were stationed in Arkansas and one thing that they saved for me was a tiny baby spoon that they received at the time of my birth. It had the hospital's name imprinted on it.

I was born there. My parents didn't want me and wouldn't give me a name. They asked a nurse to name me. I would love to thank the woman who gave me a name.
