several years ago we got a puppy and within a week she began to loose weight among other things we suspected she had parvo and called them about pricing for care and figured it was best to have her put down well they decided to test her anyway just to be sure and our thoughts were right the staff called me and informed me of this i have to say they were very caring and understanding of our situation and explained every thing so that there would be no concerns i highly recommend them

After spending about 12k next door for emergency surgery, he was placed in the hands of this ER clinic overnight for observation for 5 days. Angela who apparently still answers the phone at night is the rudest, most unprofessional, and possibly the least knowledgable person I have ever had the unfortunate displeasure of speaking with. In fact, I changed to a different orthopedic vet so my cat wouldn't be at this idiot's mercy (and I loved his doctor). Forgetting about Angela, I had an emergency situation over a year later when my cat started urinating blood. Thinking it was best for him to go see people who were familiar with his case, I called this place. When that thing answered the phone with her same rudeness and ignorance as before (which I recall flipping out on her over last time - and that isn't very easy to bring out in me), I took him elsewhere. I already had a complete copy of all of his records of course. Just spent another 3k in addition to the other 10k they missed out on because of her terrible customer service. I'm an APN, and her behavior was just appalling - on several occasions..

They are really wonderful and very helpful. My very old dog was very sick and they took care of her until the end, but even before that, I brought her in for post-operative care and she was well cared for.

The staff at this emergency veterinary clinic are always helpful and caring. They get referrals from all over Hampton Roads and work tirelessly to accommodate everyone. The people transformed my dog from a nervous little introvert with a tucked tail to a friendly and open character, despite all the painful procedures. Has to be because they restored her health by removing a big tumor - she's had a year of running and frolicking like a puppy after moping for the previous 4 years (she's at least 10 - a rescue dog.) What a difference! When you visit, take a look at all the letters, photos, and cards from pet owners who have been happy with their service
