Everything was going great until I was down to getting my parcel and one more cavity to fill. They put me on a waiting list....Now the tooth that needed filled is gone and the nerves are exposed. Im in alot of pain but I guess they dont care. The staff is amazing and caring but not the administration or the appt makers. I need another tooth pulled and my parcel.

The first time I visited Health Right, I opted for a free whooping cough vaccine. The nurse was stopped just before administering the injection, and was told the syringe she was using shouldn't even be in the clinic (?). The first time they scheduled an appointment for me with another hospital, HealthRight hadn't faxed the information they would need, so when I went to the appointment the doctors didn't know what to do for me and I was turned away. I went to HealthRight to find out what was going on, where my doctor told me I had a normal PAP result and there was nothing to worry about. Later I was notified that the report I had previously been told was normal, was actually very bad news--possibly cancer--and they had been aware of it from the beginning, but told me everything was ok (!??!?!!). The second appointment notice I received was scheduled for two months later, but had been cancelled the same day it was made. No one informed me that the appointment had been cancelled, and no one rescheduled it. Thus, I waited for months, on two separate occasions, for appointments that were completely useless, and kept me waiting even longer for the help I needed. There is little or no communication, and they are VERY unorganized. This is unacceptable, and frankly, REALLY scary. I feel I can't trust them with my health; I feel like I have to double check everything they're doing to avoid mistakes and make sure they have the right information. It is stressful enough to have a health issue, and they have made it much harder to cope with. I understand everyone makes mistakes, but there have been TOO MANY at HealthRight.

While it is understandable that they are overloaded, occassionally the administrative staff seem to revel in their "authority" and opportunity to treat the patients like children. Arbitrary policy decisions are made thoughtlessly by snap judgments to withhold or withdraw services from some patients as punishment for unrecognizable or imagined infractions of decorum. Sometimes the problems arise from failure to listen and sometimes, it seems, problems are created from a deeper lack of care. Far and away most of the medical staff does not have such mischevious or malicious intentions and perform from purely positive motives. I guess of the few problem personalities, perhaps, they are thus far unrecognized as needing closer supervision. It is unfortunate that a functionally-anonomous system of patient review can't really be created to identify the problem individuals for supervision and control before delivering bad experiences and forming a mistrust in the people seeking help and compassion. I suppose I make the suggestion for such a system, anyway.
