The office staff at the modesto office is very kind and do all they can to resolve a problem which isn't much..You have to deal with the Apria Co. over the phone and all of their operators are in the Philippians. They are hard to understand and they do not understand your problem. I strongly suggest you do not deal with APRIA HEALTHCARE INC. .

Called to get a wheel chair for my mom, it was hard to understand the person who answered the phone, when I asked how I get the authorization form for the insurance company, he gave me customer service number which turned out to be the number I initially called. Not very helpful, when I called back there was no answer. They must get there revenue from another source because I doubt it very much if it's from customers. Selected a start but I would not even give one star to this business!

I received monthly debits beginning April, but was never told that the wheelchair was a rental; I thought the amount I paid was co-pay insurance.
When I called about the debits, they indicated it was a rental, and they would stop the charges, since my Dad is now deceased. They indicated they would pick up the wheelchair. We received a subsequent call stating they could not pick up the wheelchair. I was told they would not continue to bill since I had contacted them. Two days later, they called my mother and threatened to continue to bill since the wheelchair hadn't been returned. Really? Heartless when we just lost my Dad.

We then tried to return the wheelchair but they were closed. When I called 800#, they indicated they would send out for a pickup. I just got off the phone with them and they indicated they could not come for a pickup as scheduled on Friday.
