Very caring staff and they don't over charge on any procedures required ... Love love love the special care to my pets , they definitely go above and beyond. You may have a little time in the waiting area to me that just shows how many people also trust the vets and staff there.

DO NOT Go to Amarillo Veterinary Clinic
Tink is our chihuahua and she is a precious part of our family. Ever since we got her, I have done everything in my power to keep her safe and healthy. About 2 years ago, Tink seemed to have injured her front left leg for what we thought was jumping on and off the furniture. So we took her to Amarillo Veterinary Clinic like we had done in the past. They really didn't do anything but say the muscles were inflamed, gave her a steroid shot and some pain meds. She got better. Well just recently she has not been acting herself. She does not get excited, play and talk to us like she always has. I decided to go to High Plains Veterinary Clinic because I had been unsatisfactory with Amarillo Vet Clinic's Service. They gave her a check up like I have never seen before! They didn't just tell me, they showed me on an X-ray that her spinal column is fusing together from jumping on and off furniture. In the 5 years we have been taking Tink to Amarillo Vet Clinic, she has never had an X-ray. Even when her leg was injured, did not eat, drink, urinate or defecate, they did not take X-rays! High Plains also told me that it was probably not her leg that was injured but her spine. If Amarillo Vet Clinic would have taken X-rays 2 years ago and found this problem, we could have taken preventive measures to help our family member live a longer healthier life. Amarillo Veterinary Clinic has taken an unknown number of years off of our beloved animal's life because of their malpractice. If you truly love your animals, do not take them to Amarillo Veterinary Clinic! I have a lot of respect for Dr. Love, but after HE retired, they just don't care for animals like they used to.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

They were decent, but not very affordable

No, they close exactly on schedule despite any circumstances

Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier!
