We took our baby, Molly there on Friday. There had been an accident and Beth had done acupuncture on her. Molly was a dachshund and the injury caused her back legs to be paralyzed. On Saturday morning, I called and all I got was an answering machine saying my call would be returned within 1 hour. It is now Thursday and I still havent received a call from them. On Saturday my dad called to check on her and Dan said she wasn't doing well and told my dad that he had decided to go out of town and asked what we wanted to do. Daddy asked Dan to consult the Neurologist at the Emergency Clinic and see if they thought they can help her. Dan and my dad talked after and Dan said the Neurologist said they couldn't do anything and if it were him he would put her down. After further investigation, contacting the Emergency Clinic 4 times that Saturday and found they had not been contacted at all, found out that Molly was left at the Lenoir Veterinary Clinic Friday night with no one checking on her. The clinic was closed that weekend, no one there, no doctor on call. This is something that can't be taken back and I know that she is gone but PLEASE don't leave a sick or injured pet there thinking they are looked after because if it is their weekend to be closed or if they decide to go out of town, the pets are on their own!!

They barely gave me any information at all. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. Extremely rude technician!

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find.
I received a couples of notices to have my pet come in for a kennell cough shot, and they even called my house. I finally called to get a price of the things I would need before I could schedule this appt. The asst. informed me 20.00 for the shot, 10.00 for the anal gland drain and 66.00 for a yr supply of Interceptor. Total 96.00. I said let me confirm this w/my husband and I'll call you back to let you know. I did call back & set the appt for that afternoon. Went in, sat, was called back, anal was suppressed by a tech, and I asked her a direct question about the dog. Her Answer was..I dont know. I told her that I would ask the Vet. when they came in to administer the shot. Vet came in, made a rude remark about my dog's color and acted as if she was not at all an animal lover. Vets before have been sugar sweet with any animal. This case wasnt. I asked her if it were true that Schnauzer got "schnauzer bumps", her comment was they're just blk heads. I said ok....she said your pet looks fine. We departed. I got to the ck out desk and found that the yr supply was going to be a 6 months because thats all they had. So I said oh well, I will need to make another trip in 6 huh? I figured the bill would be 33.00 less, instead it was 91.00. I said WHAT? the lady said yeah, 28.00 for the exam, 20.00 for the shot and 10.00 for the anal and 33.00 for the Interceptor....I said youve gotr to be kidding me??? 28.00 $$ for asking a question???, she said for the exam, I said said theyre wasnt an exam, Im not paying that and I want to speak w/the Vet. She left the desk, came back 5 min later and said...shes busy, she said the charge was to check his skin...I said youve got to be kidding me....I wasnr going to stand there and argue. The owner, female Vet, Beth Jones wouldnt assist me or address that I was very upset...I asked for my pets records and said that I would NOT be back. When I returned hm, I explained to my husband what had happened...He said Im suprised you let someone Take from you like that. So I called the office once again to speak with Beth Jones...she wouldnt come to the phone, said that her office mgr handles that, so the receptionist agreed with me..she was the one I spoke w/and set the appt. She said that she agreed w/me in the sense that if I was going to be charged xtra that I should have been told.. I want go back there, and whats really a shocker besides the up charges and arrogance is that this female is on the NC Senate in Lenoir NC, what a joke for this community, weve all been scammed.
