I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and have lived in big cities, suburbs, and small towns. When I found Dr. Heidi, it was because she was on call over a holiday weekend. She diagnosed my dog before we were through the door, saving his life. Since then, I've made the hour and a half round trip for all my dogs and cats, and would crawl on my hands and knees to get there. When the heartbreaking time for "the end" came, Dr Heidi sat down on the floor with my dog, my kids, and me, and took whatever time we needed to make the passage as gentle and compassionate as possible. She is an excellent vet and a beautiful person, who works to make her facility the best it can be. The vets who work with her are equally wonderful, and her staff cares about animals in a way I've never before seen. There is love and personal caring that can't be matched. People come from all over northern Michigan to Indian River Vet. There are three local vets who rotate for after hours and weekend on-call emergencies, so there is always someone to get to. I can't say enough about their level of expertise and compassionate care, and highly recommend them.

I have been taking my dogs and cat here and we always get excellent treatment. Very professional staff and always very willing to ensure my fur babies well being.

Dr Heidi is very kind and knowledgeable veterinarian. You can tell that she loves what she does as that she always greets you with a smile when you enter the clinic.

My wife and I live in Minnesota. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. My parents who live in mackinaw city began going to Indian river vet clinic and informed us about it. We 'tried it out' 4 or 5 years ago and have been going to there ever since. The staff is full of wonderful professionals who honestly seem to enjoy animals.

I've been going to IRVC for many years. My pets have always gotten excellent care & the staff has always been friendly & helped me get an appointment when needed at the last minute. Love the Dr's, Heidi, Sarah & Kelly & have recommended them to many friends & customers. Just a great vet clinic in northern Mi.

I needed to bring my dog in while I was on vacation. They were able to see us right away. The facility is very clean and the staff was wonderful. I would not hesitate to go back again.

IRVC has the best veterinarians in the area. We have four pets and they are all patients at IRVC, they are always treated with kindness and tenderness. The doctors are VERY knowledgeable and are up-to-date with the latest procedures and equipment. The support staff members are well educated and exceptionally helpful and it's obvious they all love animals. =^..^=
