Dr. J. is a true humanitarian. He even called to follow-up on our aging pooch on a Sunday! I can't thank him enough for his help and caring throughout the years we've been seeing him!!!

We love this place! Have never waited more than a minute or two. Both Dr. Jay and the one assistant I have met are kind caring and just simply nice people

The place is small but clean and sweet.

May I respectfully suggest that CE has left his/her bad/sad review for the wrong provider? I believe that this person actually visited the vet clinic at Animal Welfare League ( an animal shelter) which is in Chicago Ridged also. That clinic is a low-cost provider, yes, it is an imperfect place but they do the best they can with what they have to provide veterinary services for those who might otherwise not be able to afford it. And yes, you cannot get an appointment there, it is first come ~ first served and the waits are long.

That said, that provider has absolutely NO CONNECTION to the one we are reviewing here!!!! Chicago Ridge Animal Clinic is a small privately owned facility. The care is good and kind, the waits are non-existant and it is quick and easy to get an appointment!

I have been visiting this vet for over 20 years. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and I feel this doctor is the most compassionate vet I have ever been to. I never feel pressured into buying any product or service. I always have trusted his opinion regarding my dogs health over the years.

It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list. The staff didn't seem to know a whole lot about the company they worked for. Every single time I'd ask them a question, they'd ignore me or give a rude answer. It was very frustrating. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. All of their equipment seemed to be fairly new, but it has a horrible, dirty odor and there is hair everywhere, I don't think they even sweep the floors at night and with my allergies I was sick for days after my visit. I couldn't believe how insensitive they were when my pet was sick. My veterinarian didn't seem to have the bad attitude that the rest of the staff had, but it did take more than 4 hours to sit in the waiting room and other people seemed to walk in ahead of you.
