I've had 3 experiences with this practice. Over a decade ago that convinced my mom to put down our chow mix because they deemed him as aggressive. He was the nicest dog and never harmed anyone, he would just bark at strangers (shocker). Years later the vet was rude to me when I had to bring in my dachshund for an allergic reaction. A couple of weeks ago our other dachshund Lilly was brought in with pancreatitis, but she did not survive. They claimed they were doing all they could, but her mother (the first dachshund) had pancreatitis a year ago and was brought to the vet hospital in Tallahassee. Her case was worse and was caught later than her daughter's but she survived. We didn't get crappy updates from the vet in Tallahassee like "she's hanging on by a thread", or "we're doing all we can" either. These people lack people skills and I assume ability and/or equipment when it comes to severe cases.

I highly recommend anyone considering taking their pet here for an emergency reconsider. I don't want anyone else to suffer the heartbreak my family has.

I would like to give a different perspective to these reviews. My experiences with both Bryan and hight. Bryan was rude and sarcatic when I brought my dog in. Some animals get overwelmed by other dogs and animal smells. So she was listed as agressive. The family felt unwelcome to return to the practice. (not all animals are social butterflies). A emergency recently happened after hours and we were told she was not a regular patient. They would not see her. If we had not rushed her from Bainbridge to Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Tallahasse she would no longer be with us. There, she got wonderful care without without a condescending attitude. Shame on You!

This is one of the best vets around.They are so good with animals and it shows! They always seem to love what they are doing and animals respond to this. I wouldn't use anyone else!
