Doc Y is always wonderful and cures our Harley of all problems. Staff are always caring and great. Harley's surgery bill was the exact amount as stated.. Great job Team. Harley has been seeing Doc Y for 6 years

would not and cannot recommend this office to anyone. vet service is ok but beyond that it is horrible. was informed by office manager the practice was highly successful and to take my business elsewhere. the success of any business is not totally measured by the number of clients in the waiting room but by how well that waiting room and those clients are managed. my observation and experience on may 5 tells me not well.

upon getting my pet and leaving the office i let my dog stretch his legs outside for a couple of minutes. a couple of customers that had observed what had happened inside approach me and expressed their fustration about the service there. i was asked what did they do. my response was i was told to take my business elsewhere. can you imagine the surprise on their faces! i was. had a service i was happy with and will gladly return to them.

maybe the person that creates the revenue and signs all the checks needs to take a break occasionally and see what really is happening in their own office.

My puppy had severe intestinal blockage. We took him to an emergency vet where they recommended Southside because they were "cheaper". So we take him to Southside the next morning, and they ask for 1200 down, possibly 500 more of its severe enough. So wanting to save our puppies life we payed. They said only x-rays, blood work, and fluid would be done that day, and that surgery would be done the next day. They also said they would keep us up to date on everything that happens, so i was absolutely shocked when they called in the middle of surgery (after saying they weren't going to do surgery till the next day) having me make a life or death choice, and saying that we would have to pay another 700 to keep him alive. My father who was with me at the time said yes, since my boyfriend (owner) was not present. We go up there to talk to them about our dog, and to see what we could do about the price, since we already gave them 1200 that morning. All together they wanted a 1000 more, 700 right then and there and 300 when he gets discharged in two weeks, plus medicine. We tried working with them, and tried to figure something out, which the rude vet tech didnt help with at all. We finally figured out a payment plan, after they assured us our puppy was doing great and better than they expected. The next morning, they call us three hours after they open letting us know he passed last night from a minor seizure, and that the vet could not resuscitate him. And still expected us to pay after the fact. Because of this poor service and lack of communication throughout our experience, i would never recommend this vet, nor would i ever take another animal there. I would rate them with no stars if i could, we as animal parents are quite frustrated, and having been to a few other vet offices, i have never dealt with one this money focused and heartless before. Choose a vet who cares about your animal and yourself, before the money.
