We had care from Hope Hospice for our mom for a couple of months and they were wonderful and caring.

I called in Hope Hospice when my mother could no longer go to the doctor except in a medical transport van and she was too weak to live in assisted living any longer. I called Hope Hospice after hours one evening to ask them to call me back the next day. By 7:30 am the next morning I got a call from someone from Hope Hospice who arranged to meet me immediately. She was compassionate, listened to my situation, got on the phone and made arrangements for my Mom to live in a lovely private board and care. She helped us move Mom into her new home and by noon that day, Mom was being attended to by one of the hospice nurses, she was settled into her new place and every single concern I had about her care was answered by every person on the Hope Hospice staff. Mom lived her final three months under their loving and supportive care. Hope Hospice was wonderful not only for my Mom, but they were a godsend for our entire family. I don't know how any hospice could have provided more total care for our family during this stressful time. I always recommend Hope Hospice when people ask me who we had care for Mom. This is an outstanding organization.

Definitely, they make everyone feel equally respected and cared for

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!
Did a staff member acknowledge or greet you when you entered?
Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
Is this business handicap-accessible?
Absolutely, even the bathrooms are handicap-accessible
Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines?

Unfortunately when you are told that you need Hospice for a loved one it is at a time when you are not able to make good judgment calls. This was the hospice that was referred to me from the nursing home where my mother was. Little did I know it was part of a conglomerate that was all owned by the same people.

When I needed the doctor to come to my house, he complained about the drive and made sure that I put my little dog away as he was afraid of animals!! Never mind I had been taking care of my mother and she was dying... heaven forbid he have a hard time with directions!

They made me think this was "the" hospice for the area. I had no idea there was a choice until after everything was set up I changed to CORNERSTONE hospice. I also hear that HOSPICE OF THE VALLEYS is great. These two are non-profit. CORNERSTONE was great, I only wish I had the for the whole duration. HOPE HOSPICE was just AWFUL and you would not believe the bill that they charge the government when they are through!! APPALLING!!
