I saw Laura Adams for multiple years during the height of my anorexia. I was hospitalized in that time period multiple times and she walked right next to me, involved, engaged and invested in my well being; mind, body and soul. She welcomed my family into therapy and helped them understand. She saved my life! She helped me find me. She helped me learn how to love myself and listen to my body. And let me tell you, I was a negative, stubborn, manipulative individual who's entire form of identity and control rested in my eating disorder. I clung to Ana like it was all I had. And still, she was patient and loving and understanding. Her secret weapon; she knows nutrition in and out; my eating disorder lies and irrational rules never win against facts, and she is loaded with them. She truly saved me from a life of self hate. I am 23 years old now and recovered. And when times get hard, I just think of what Laura would tell me... and then I am right back on track! Thank you Laura!!!! <3 Won't ever stop recommending her!!

I have never had a health care professional mote capa ble, educated, or talented. Adams knows her facts, but she is successful because s.he makes knowing her patients the basis of applying them
