The majority of the staff are kind, attentive, answer the families questions, try to get answers for the family, etc. There are several staff members that refuse to acknowledge your presence, do not answer you when you try to ask them a question, seem very unhappy at their job which falls onto the patients, especially the ones that have disabilities, memory loss, etc.

The Physician that is overseeing the admitted patients is very questionable. After doing some research through medicare documents, it states a patient must be seen in 24 hours then follow 3 times through out the week by the Dr. This facility states the Dr must see patient within 7 business days, so they made an appearance on the 9th calendar day. A lot can decline on a patient in 9 days.

The request to get ibuprofen to help with pain, instead of using narcotics, was delayed for days, putting my sedated family member at serious risk for a fall due to the sedation. The patient was in pain and had to take what was available.

Avoid this facility if you cannot use your own family physician. We were not offered that option, but administration states some residents use their physician. We were in on short term rehab, so I do not think our family physician manages that and you are forced to use the in house physician. Shop around, ask questions before deciding on a location for your family member if you will need real medical car.

Dr. Reynolds was the physician stated to be the rehab Dr. As I stated, it took 9 days to be seen, yet the clinic is right across the street from this facility.

Thank you to all the other staff, nurses, therapists, cooks, techs. Most of them are amazing!

They don't clean rooms when transferring patients. They neglect their patients. My family member went a week and half with no oral care. Several times we can to visit and she was not clean. And was mouthy when ask for her to be cleaned up. The director says he will help with Medicaid application but in reality you provide everything they ask for and when you talk to Medicaid they state they have not received any of the paperwork. They have a high staff turnover rate.

They do there jobs. Although some are very friendly,most are not excited about being there. No neglect, the nursing home is clean and newly rennovated at the front entrance in the inside
