I was impressive with Physical and Occupational therapy and its staff ability to help with my recovery. Overall, All staff were patience and had a positive attitude. Noemi, Jennifer and Sara CNAs were courteous, helpful and very friendly. I really enjoyed the following activities Happy Hour, Monday Night Football and Bingo. The food was excellent. Definitely would recommend to family and friends who need Physical and Occupational therapy rehabilitation.

My companion of 14 years was placed in Manorcare Palm Desert facility to rehab from a fall in which he broke his hip. We were promised he would have daily out of bed in chair care this did not happened many other commitments were made and unkept. he went 3 days without his teeth being brushed we had to fight to get him showered he was brought his breakfast early in the morning it was placed clear across the room on a table when his daughter came (as all the family did each day) it was around 11 am the food was still on the table the CNA came into the room and said ooh he has not eaten his food. No one had checked that he could not get out of bed to reach his food and no one had given it to him We took him home MUCH MORE TO TELL BUT RAN OUT OF SPACE!

Husband was transferred from hospital to have physical therapy. First two hours not one person came into his room to look after him. He was very fearful of where they had placed him. Very scary for him.
One morning wanted cna care, no one came after 10 minutes. Wife went out to call for help, all the aids were in their office area around a table talking, only the nurse was working. I yelled.

My 92 year old friend was admitted yesterday. I have called 4 times to speak to her and also wanted an update from staff. This place seems to be unable to do that. They can transfer you to phones that don't answer and they can hang up on you without saying anything, but they cant connect you. I do not like other reviews I have read on line about this place but they sure seem right to give this place a BELOW AVERAGE rating.
