excellent care provided to my mother over the last 3 months after extensive surgery.
the nursing staff on the A wing took care of my mother as if she was their own.
I am glad I chose them. Beyond grateful to have had placed my mother in their care.

The day time staff was ok.....DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE ALONE WITH THE STAFF AT NIGHT!! they will not get the care they need and most likely will be ignored while the staff on duty sleeps or talks to each other at the nurse's station

Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our first night there was a nightmare. NO ONE welcomed us. The family and the patient had just had a life changing medical issue. They are short of staff and communication is poor between staff. Some staff is quite rude. If they are rude to family members, what do they do to patients. Smile, Be kind, Please! I have seen patients taken care of when nothing was known about their condition. Close calls for their safety was involved. Some of the staff really cares, but is just done because of lack of help. Looks Like someone just needs to be a boss and get involved. It was definitely a frightening experience for our family member and our family. People please get in there and look out for your family.

My mother was here on two differant occasions for rehab. This place is terrible. This last visit in July 2012, my mother was sent to civista from this place. the nurse says that my mother was full of feces from her back to her front and suffered numerous sores from this. She said she got in this profession to help people and is sick of seeing patients that are sent from Genesis that show signs of abuse like this. She doesn't understand why they employee people with no compassion!
