I cannot express how beautiful the grounds are, just a warm, welcoming setting. However it doesn't change the experience we had when my father was there for 6 weeks. Besides the discharge personnel constantly trying to "sell" their long-term care units to us constantly (more money), the staff seemed to ignore my father's care unless we were present. Every visit, found him sitting in urine filled diapers, and we alternated when we'd go visit him. The OT therapist thought there was no use in helping him, the PT tried in vain to help when and where she could, but she was met with doctors and nurses that were indifferent to his needs and possible outcome since there was little attention on him. One time, the night nurse left for a break in disgust, as she needed a break and there was no one there to help her. I worked with a woman who had her mother there for one week before she was moved out, same reasons. Just watch carefully and investigate and do NOT settle when choosing here.
On another note, don't get me started on their costs and billing and demands of payment in full immediately soon after release, no matter the bill.(but thats probably every place)
If you love your parents, don't choose here.

They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy.
