I have visited with several of the staff members regarding future care of my mother and they always listen to every question or concern I may have. They visited my mother in her home to make an assessment of her needs. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need before placement. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. Many of the staff members have worked there for 10+ years so, to me, that says a lot. The must have job satisfaction and enjoy their work. They seem to be a caring nursing staff. I'm not only looking for skilled nursing care, I am looking for a home-like environment for my mother, as this will be her new "home". Bottom line, if you have time to research before the need occurs you should definitely visit all your choices for homes before deciding. I'm also basing my decision on some very good friends' comments that they chose this place for there mom. "It may not be the fanciest place but it more reasonably price and it is one of the cleanest."
