They never take that extra step to make me feel special. I haven't ever felt that they care enough to get to know me and that I'm almost an irritation. This person should not be a family practitioner. For Physical checkup, I don't feel I am examined as my previous doctor. I was given the wrong prescriptions. The first year, I had to call and got the correct prescription. This year, I only caught one wrong prescription during the visit and got the correct one. But I caught another wrong prescription afterwards. I didn't even bother to call. I don't feel that the doctor is well knowledgeable. If you asked about any problems or get any prescriptions, it's charged office visit on top of the preventive care visit starting this year without informing the patient beforehand. The receptionist is rude on the phone and in the office. I was the first patient and still waited for a long time to be seen. I will not be returning!

Doctor Nelson is excellent! He has been my Doc for almost two years now. My wife and son and daughter-in-law and soon two grandchildren will become members of his practice soon. The Northwest Family Clinic is easy to access, plenty of parking. Nice, clean. Extremely efficient. No long waiting times. Exceptional nurses. Two Docs and an NPN. Dr Nelson of course is who I have seen and have been very impressed.
