Very professional, nice man. Easy to talk to. Never feel rushed during your appointment. Always on time. You never have to sit in waiting room for more than 5 minutes.

The most unhelpful person I've ever encountered. He rushed me through all of my paperwork, answered calls during our appointment, kept looking at the clock when I was talking and interrupted me when I was talking, also referred me to a psychologist for testing but only accepts 2 people in town, and only one is accepting new patients so it takes forever to get in (for meds I need now, not in 2 months), and then charged me $340 for that awful experience. DO NOT waste your time or money on this man. He clearly only cares about money and not actually about people.

I've seen him regularly for six years to treat my condition. He is excellent. He's also very no-nonsense in that if you are making poor decisions about your health or behavior, he will be understanding but hold you accountable for your actions nonetheless. (You can't blame everything on your condition, and you can't blame everything on your medications.) He's a very empowering doctor. .I've had my condition for ten years and went through a slew of doctors, medications, and hospitals before I found Dr. Shehata. He's so good that even though he is out of network I continue to see him, and if things are financially difficult he is willing to work things out.

I am probably not going to refer my family and friends here. I went there for help and all him gave me was more prescriptions to take, I needed help sorting things out didn't seem to have any answers or suggestions. Stop going after I lost my insurance he wanted to charge $150 a session. I went there for months, just felt more lost after each visit. Seemed to care more about a the money than help me with my problems.

All Shehata cares about is making money. He is all about the insurance. I stopped going to see him when he charged me a $60 fee for not showing up when I actually left a message for him on a Tuesday to let him know I wouldn't be there on Wednesday! SIXTY DOLLARS! My appointments only cost around $20, and he charged three times that. The longest we ever talked was about 15 minutes. And all he does is presribe drugs. My first appointment with him, he left the room because he had a phone call. Are you kidding me? I'm your patient! He is a scammer, and a fraud!

They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. They've always been great about getting back to me very quickly after I call. It's never taken them more than a day to call me back. They are one of the most polite, respectful people I've ever met.

They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. It made me even more confident that I was seeing someone who knew what they were doing. They weren't the worst psychiatrist I've ever seen, but they definitely weren't the best. I still felt a little nervous under their care.During my consultation, they were very helpful and attentive the entire time. I didn't like his push of meds right off the back. I had come for an evaluation, not for a pharmaceutical solution. He takes every concern seriously, no matter how trivial
