One of the best dentists I've been to. Works with patients and understands not everyone has the money to pay for all the extra's that insurance doesn't cover. Don't pa attention to the office manager's estimates demand that you pay exactly what your insurance says to pay. Once you get past her and everything extra she's selling the dentists is excellent. My insurance says 65 dollars a extraction and that is what I pay. The dentist even told me I don't need all that extra junk so why buy it.

Don't use Coast Dental. Never trust a dentist that makes you pay first ! After waiting 8 weeks I recieved my botched Delux Denture. After complaining to Dr Jon Windom I was promised a full refund for a boched upper denture. It was too narrow for my mouth and the impression was made crooked so that the middle of my upper teeth did not match the middle of my lower teeth. I returned the denture on 6/23/14 and was told my refund would take 6-8 weeks. On 9/15/14 Almost 3 months later I recieved a partial credit of $158.80 from the corporate headquarters of coast dental in clearwater. After complaining to corporate about the balance of $635.20 still owed I recieved a call from Cara Crawford at Coast dental Ormond promising a credit to my card for the remaining amount within 72 hrs. I never got it. Made a complaint to better busness bureau. Was promised again for a refund of $635.20. Never got it. On November 18th I recieved a call from Cara Crawford at Coast Dental Ormond 12:30pm and was offered a refund of $635.20 minus lab fee of $80. I accepted the offer and still got no refund. I would not recomend this dentist to anyone ! The one star rating is only because you can
t leave a review without clicking at least one star. The truth is they don't deserve any stars.

I went to this dental office for the first time a few days ago as my previous dentist dropped my insurance. I wanted to have an exam and a cleaning, but the employee said I could not have a cleaning without having some periodontal work first...at a big expense to me as Humana does not cover much of this procedure. I feel as though I am being "railroaded" & am probably going to find another dentist. I have scheduled an appointment to have a bridge replacement in a couple of days with Coast Dental and am scared as scared can be...will they do a good job? I feel this group is in it for the money. The employee I dealt with is pushy, which makes me feel most uncomfortable. I am locked in with the bridge replacement, but it better turn out well.

The x-rays and initial check up by the dentist was a good experience.
I have scheduled a cleaning next and would not hesitate to recommend
this practice to others needing dental care.
