I hated going to see this doctor! I went to him throughout my entire pregnancy. He was rude. He didn't listen. He did not care about my feelings. He made me feel so bad on a number of occasions that I even left crying several times. I feel I was not giving the correct advice for having a c section. He wanted to rush my follow up care. Do not go to him!!!!!!

My appointment with this OBGYN was a waste of time. Literature about women's issues were no where to be found in this OBGYN's office. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. It seems Mr. Mercado if we can call him a doctor has a self esteem issue. He wants to show his superiority and tries to belittle you. I spoke to him in English and told him what procedures I previously underwent. He told me what I explained to him was wrong and that I should speak Spanish with him because I don't understand the English language. Wow what a professional. Instead of trying to help me with my medical condition he was more concerned about the language I spoke with him.

I would NEVER EVER recommend this doctor. He doesn't provide any service at all, other than charge for his fees. The office staff is just horrible. I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant and told me I was just overreacting. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. Dr. Jaime Mercado performs procedures at his own office. Please, please NEVER trust his practice. He checked my fallopian tubes and didn't even give me antibiotics. I developed a big infection and now my fallopian tubes are totally blocked. Besides, this study was never really necessary.
