extremely rude and unprofessional place. The dentist if clearly not fit for the job. He's messed up my crown. When I had an appointment for him to fix it, they kept me waiting for TWO AND HALF HOURS o nly to tell me that its too late now and i'd have to reschedule.
I was having a toothache and made an appointment at smile care. They took an xray and said it looked like I had a root canal that went bad and a small cavity in the tooth behind it that needed a fill ing. They scheduled an appointment for me to see their specialist that is only there on Tuesday. I went back on Tuesday and the specialist agreed with the first dentist I saw and said she could try and fix the bad root canal or extract the tooth. I said I wanted to try to save the tooth and she was pretty adamant that she would rather extract it. I figured I would go get another opinion but what would the harm be in coming back and having the "small cavity" filled? So I made an appointment to come back the next week and have the cavity filled. I was so wrong, saw a different dentist and he said that filling the "small cavity" wouldn't be an option and I needed a crown. Then they brought me the bill of what the crown would cost and it was way more than anything I have had to pay with my insurance before. So in a two week period I have been to Smile Care, seen 3 different dentist, had one xray taken and 3 different opinions. Also, if you choose to not follow my advice and go to Smile Care be prepared to wait at least an hour before the dentist even sees you.
The Worst! I was frustrated with them a year ago due to being given and charged a composite filling when I authorized amalgam only, I recently had a severe eruption with pain so I went back. It is f ine now. My recent issue is that I was scheduled for a cleaning and a 6 month follow up. 3 different times I spoke to them and each time I mentioned the cleaning. When I went in the hygienist was "snippy" and said I was not scheduled for cleaning. She happened to mention her daughter was there for cleaning next. I stated to the dentist I thought that considering the circumstance the daughter should be rescheduled rather than the patient. She actually came up to the check out desk and confronted me and started arguing. How unprofessional.. Forget about patients being first! I am also a healthcare professional for many years...do you think I haven't had to readjust my schedule to accommodate patients? Go elsewhere unless you absolutely cant. Be warned.
I HAD TO GO AND HAVE MY WISDOM TEETH REMOVED THEY HAVE ANOTHER GROUP COME IN (TRAVELING ORAL SURGEON AND CREW) THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN TO MY WORSE ENEMY.
