Dr. Belt treated me for numbness in the hands and fingers and was compassionate and thorough. He correctly identified my situation and referred me to the proper specialist to resolve my issue.

Very patient, understanding and extremely responsive with concerns and questions.

all he wants is to push medication without doing testing.
i have seizures and he IS KEEPING ME ON THESE MEDICATIONS without doing any testing to see how if my condition is improving. its been 10 years since i had any brain scans for all i know i could be "cured" but he's still forcing these pills down my throat.
if you ask me he's the worst. if i could i wouldn't even give him 1 star.

I have been a patient of Dr. Belt's for 15 years. He is always friendly, remembers my name, asks about my son and my job. He will apologize if he's running late and never cuts short an appointment. He is fully aware of why I'm there and gives me the opportunity to share any pertinent info after he examines me. I was dismayed to see that he left this practice and moved out of state in Dec., 2014...perhaps to retire? I wish him all the best but am a bit upset that I found out he left when I had to call the office to have them clarify a letter I received that changed my appt. to one with Dr. Krinsky. The office should have sent a letter out to all of Dr. Belt's patients advising them that Dr. Belt was leaving the practice. Anyway, I will miss him. He was always very accommodating and we had many conversations about my headaches and the various treatments available to help me.

Never, ever, have I met a doctor who was as rude and condescending toward a patient ad he was to me. In fact, I dont know if I've ever met ANYONE who was as rude, anywhere. First, I had to fill out this long form with my symptoms, history, etc, but before I could finish, I was called in, and D r Belt came right in. Because I hadnt finished the form, I started to tell him verbally why I was there. As I was talking, he started to examine me. Then, at the same time I was talking, he stopped and said, " if you keep talking, you're going to distract me from my examination." So, I guess he thought he was brilliant enough to find out what was wrong before he could read about or listen to the reason I was there! Ive never walked out on an MD before (who has?) but I came as close as one could. The only reason I stayed was that it had taken me so long to get an appt, that I didnt want to start all over. Listen, I could go on with more, but the narrative would be too long. I dont know if this doc is the world's best neuro or not, but ask yourself if you would like to be treated that way by anyone, much less a doctor. I see there are some positive reviews here and I can't inagine how experiences can be so different. Maybe he has a twin. Just be forwarned.
