I have been a patient for over five years. Dr. Wang only sees patients for tests and initial appointments. After that, you will only see a PA for test results, follow-up visits and new conditions. My greatest frustration is that while we have done many, many tests, and I've been told the NAME of my problems, I do not see much improvement of the situations. Maybe many neurological conditions are just "learn to live with it" problems, but it seems there must be SOME way to fix SOME of the issues. Also, the PA tells me I need certain tests or referrals to other specialists, but they never occur. Scheduling tests between different areas of the same practice can take four to six visits--sometimes three quarters of a year-- to happen. The phone system is also frustrating, as there are many times it is impossible to get through to a human being during office hours. Messages may or may not be returned, but usally are not. Sometimes one can not even LEAVE a message due to the phones being down. This is not a one-time event; it is a problem I have reported in person to staff for over a year. Also, they now use internet to remind patients of their appointments, but the reminder has no information about when or where (they have two facilities) the appointment will be. Frankly, I feel I have given this doctor enough time to help me. It's probably time to search for a new neurologist...I just hate having to "train" a new doctor.
