I've been a patient for 30+ years, even during the 3 years I lived in Portland and North Carolina. I always made sure I scheduled to see them when I was here visiting, that's how terrific Mark and his staff are to work with.

Mark's middle name is 'Gentle', so if you have 'dental anxiety' like me, he and his staff will be a perfect fit. The key there is to communicate your concerns; I guarantee they will listen and adjust accordingly.

They all have good chair-side personalities and it's not uncommon to hear conversations that include laughter, which definitely is the best medicine and makes for a much better experience.

As far as the reviewer that felt like Mark was trying to get her to do procedures she didn't think she needed, I've NEVER felt that way. Mark and his staff always point out issues that may cause future problems, make careful notes to recheck it every time I'm in and provide me with an estimate for the future cost so that I can budget accordingly. I'd call that good dentistry.

I felt that Mark Worthington aggressively pushed unnecessary and expensive dental procedures. I saw him taking what I perceived to be a similar approach with other patients.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I have been going to them for years.
