When I first joined, they said they had evening appointments for general dentistry. This was hardly ever the case when we tried to schedule an evening apt--one dentist worked one night and was booked many months in advance. Also, DAR has cancelled appointments within days of the appointment at great inconvenience to their customers. When pressed for a suitable alternative this last time, the office manager suggested that I either take the one opening they had that day (I could not take time off work at a drop of a hat to suit her schedule) or a 7 a.m. the following day or find another dentist. Not customer service oriented and staff have the attitude that their clients should work around the DAS schedule--take it or leave it. Well, I am now looking for another dentist.
Shame on Dental Associates of Riverside. Your clients are busy people and not there to serve you. You could at least try to find another time that worked for both parties. When I elevated this experience to the GM of operations, she was unsympathetic, provided excuses and generally defended her staff. Sorry to see that poor customer service goes up to the top. After 30+ minutes of discussion, it was clear that she would not offer a solution or a mutually agreeable time.
The only redeeming factor at DAR is that their Orthodontist and the Orthodontist's office staff (which are different from the DAR front office staff). Dr. Stockdale and his staff are professional, genuinely kind, considerate and personable.
I have always been fearful of the dentists office. A visit there meant, a very nervous me! But since I started going here, I have had GREAT experiences. Teeth cleaning and not once did I feel discomfort, let alone any pain. No cavities happy to say! The staff are great and very focused on you and your health.
They briefly explained my dental procedure to me, but I wish they had given me more information. I was still somewhat nervous about the procedure. When I first opened the door to their office, I noticed a faint but distinctly foul odor. It wasn't unbearable, but it definitely wasn't enjoyable. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. the customer's always right The restrooms here are not well-stocked. My stall had no toilet paper so I had to use a toilet seat cover.
Their office was clean enough, nothing special though. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. They told me a little advice about what I could do at home to prevent cavities, but not enough. I was hoping for more information. The doctor was great but the front office staff is horrible! They have no customer service skills and have no idea what they are doing.
