The day of the scheduled appointment Doctor was running late, and the office smelled like an ash tray. It was so bad that we had to leave to office due having troubling breathing with the smell of cigarette smoke. Bathroom was also not clean with dust on baseboards and flat surfaces Very disappointed as this Dr. came recommended by several people, just a shame that office staff member destroyed the experience.

Dr clay is a caring and careful optometrist. BUT: she no longer accepts ANY insurance at all. She did not tell me this when I went in and her receptionist refused to answer my questions as to why my bill for a routine check up was so high. I had to call my insurance company to find out she no longer was a listed provider. In conversation with dr Clay, she was polite but did admit that she accepts NO insurance at all. This REALLY should have been made clear up front rather than hidden. As of 3/9/2016. if this review is greatly out of date do call and ask.

Nice ladry,but expired chemicals were used to test my eyes, I now question how clean they are, she used a probe I don't remember seeing her clean it before or after. When asked about the drops she used her response was she ordered them just haven't come in yet,but the bottle was dated for aug07.

I have been seeing Dr. Clay for over 25 years. She is extremely professional as well as being warm and personable. She spends more time with you than any other doctor I've ever been to. She explains all the procedures as well as the reasons for them. She answers all questions thoroughly and in terms you can understand. I highly recommend her.
