Ask pricing before service. I was asked and paid $148 for my 8 yr old son for routine checkup. Go to the Targets and Costcos' you will pay way less for similar service. I hope the prescription is right as surely wouldn't want to go back there again.

Always patient. I don't do well with drops. Dr. S and staff are very patient and explain what they are doing and why. They take time to answer questions.

Comment : I got a new eye exam from this doctor, had new glasses made at Sams Club and could not read with them. The glasses were tested by Sams and Dr. Schacherer's office and found to be exact to the prescription the Doctor prescribed. I returned to the doctor to be re-examined and get glasses I could use but doctor Schacherer said I would have to pay for an exam again because I did not buy my glasses from them! This made me have to go to another doctor for a new exam, which I did, and found that Dr. Schacherer's prescription was WAY off! Got new glasses made correctly. Dr. Schacherer refused to help me and this could not be poorer service to the public! AVOID this optometrist at all cost !!

I had some problems with my frames and had to take them back 2 times, now they have broken (less than a year and cost several hundred $) Ill go back and see if they take care of it.......hopefully it will be taken care of and I can rate them great on this....
