Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

  • 1 large onion, chopped finely

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds

  • 2 teaspoons garam masala

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 1 pound fresh spinach, trimmed and chopped

  • 6 ounces cream

  • 7 ounces paneer cheese, cubed

Directions

  • Sauté the onion, garlic, and spices in oil in a frying pan until brown.

  • Add the spinach and the lime juice and cook until the spinach has wilted.

  • Add the mixture to a blender jar and blend for 1 minute.

  • Transfer the mixture back to the frying pan and stir while adding cream.

  • Add the paneer cubes and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

  • Serve with steamed rice or naan.
