Ingredients

  • 1 sliced onion

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 2 large peeled and diced carrots

  • 2 large peeled and diced sweet potatoes

  • 15 ounces rinsed/drained canned garbanzo beans

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small pieces

  • ½ teaspoon cumin

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 14 1/2 ounces canned diced tomatoes

Directions

  • Mix the vegetables, tomatoes, chicken, spices, garlic, and garbanzo beans in slow cooker with a lid. Cook on high heat for 4 hours or until the sweet potatoes are done.
