Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa, sliced 1/2 inch thick

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

  • One 14 1/2-ounce can peeled and diced tomatoes

  • One 16-ounce can navy beans, drained

Directions

  • Place the oil into a large skillet, and heat over medium-high heat. Add the kielbasa, and cook until lightly browned. Remove the kielbasa from the skillet using a slotted spoon.

  • Add the onions to the skillet, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for 3-5 minutes or until transparent.

  • Add the garlic and herbs, reduce the heat to low, and cook for 1 minute longer.
