Ingredients

  • 20 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 1/2 cup gluten free apple cider vinegar

  • 3 cups white sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground clove

Directions

  • Add the apples and vinegar to a slow cooker. It is expected that the lid will not fit on the slow cooker.

  • Cook on high for 10 hours and stir occasionally.

  • After cooking, add the white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves to the apple mixture.

  • Put the mixture through a blender in batches.

  • Add the mixture back into the slow cooker and cook 4 additional hours.

  • Eat as a spread on toast, in oatmeal, yogurt, or cottage cheese. Seal in jars or plastic containers to store.
