Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen cherries

  • 2 tablespoons butter, or substitute

  • 1/4 cup white flour

  • 1/2 cup plain oatmeal

  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  • For fruit preparation, pit and wash the cherries and place in an 8" cake pan.

  • Set the oven to 325 degrees F.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  • Spread the mixture as evenly as possible over the cherries in the pan and bake for 30 minutes.
